Reclaimed STASH

RE-CLAIMED is the name of the game this summer.  A big stash is filling my studio and garage!  Featured  is a uniquely designed vintage display stand created from ALL patina lamp parts!  At Junk Bonanza I will be selling tubs of pieces, parts and goodies such as these.  You can create your own!

Our nephew owns and is tearing down a 100 year old lumber yard building in Kansas.  We are re-claiming the wonderful old wood.  My husband has built 6 transportable walls for Junk Bonanza.  These walls will be for sale, and would make totally awesome 8 foot farm table tops to mount to legs!  Also, if you own a store, great back-drop.

STUDIO CREATIONS

Amid summer family, fun, and junk hunting, the blog posting seems to have gone by the wayside!   Inspiration and the anticipation of September JUNK BONANZA has sent me to the "studio" to create theme displays with all my vintage loot!  Here are some "teasers" coming to Junk Bonanza!  I am so honored to be a vintage vendor this year and am searching the midwest for the best!  

Faux fireplace, chandeliers and vintage jugs are the centerpiece of the studio!

Some of my favorite custom-made vintage decor that I featured in Texas!   Once in a while, it is fun to re-create with old frames, barn wood, boots and miscellaneous loot for a one-of-a-kind!!!!!

I created over 65 re-cyled vintage "art" bottles with a spiritual theme!  I am thankful that over 50 sold in Texas!

Collage of GREAT FINDS

As I am looking back to last year and some my great finds and displays I wanted to create a collage to share with you! Imagine creating a collage at home with beautiful things that you love!

Looking ahead to 2011 and my fav's to hunt and gather this year:

This collage is everything that makes me happy in the "vintage world"! 2011 is extremely exciting to me as I look forward to new adventures and venues!

CRUSTY, CRACKED, CRAZED~I am in love with these brown transferware platters displayed on my grandmother's buffet at home! I have had so much fun in the last couple months collecting! Just found another one this week on a buying trip! Think I have enough yet???? Or should I sell them at the next BOTTOMS UP ANTIQUE MARKET in KC on January7/8, 2011(whoa another year gone by)!

Yes, I am back from a "blogless" summer! A summer of many adventures!

My girlfriend Ann and I rented and drove our first U-haul truck together and unloaded the truck on a 100 degree day in humid Missouri!

Ann and I also had a fabulous "pampering retreat" in Excelsior Springs, Mo. A 100 year old hotel with springs and spas! Luxury for the hard working junk friends! We think this could be a yearly event with more friends

Also, lots of travel to Texas, Boston, Minnesota with my best buddy and hubby, Rick! We love to travel and pick out junk together! What a dream marriage.
